Our organization provides a welcoming platform where members can connect as one family, building strong bonds of brotherhood and sisterhood regardless of age, background, or social status. By creating opportunities for friendship, networking, and collaboration, we encourage meaningful relationships among our members, their families, and future generations while strengthening the sense of belonging within the Edo community.

We are equally dedicated to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Edo people. Through cultural events, educational initiatives, and community gatherings, we celebrate and pass on our language, traditions, and values to the next generation. At the same time, we stand with our members during both joyful milestones and difficult times, offering moral, emotional, and financial support whenever needed. Our goal is to build a compassionate and connected community where every member feels valued, supported, and proud of their heritage

Objective

Core Objectives of Edo Organization

To provide a platform where a strong bond of brotherhood and sisterhood is nurtured and cultivated among Edo-speaking people, building a community where every member feels valued, connected, and supported — regardless of age, background, or social status.

To proudly celebrate, preserve, and pass on our rich Edo language, traditions, values, and history to future generations, ensuring that we do not forget our heritage and culture in the diaspora.

To create meaningful platforms for members to build friendships among our families and children, cultivate professional networks, and lifelong relationships that will promote collaboration, economic empowerment, and collective growth.

To stand with our members during moments of unforeseen life’s  adversities and challenges as well as in celebrations of crucial milestones — offering moral, financial, and emotional support in times of bereavement, illness, and hardship

To invest in the future of our children by recognizing and rewarding academic excellence, celebrating major educational milestones such as high school and college graduations, and inspiring the next generation to pursue excellence and greatness in their chosen endeavors.

To extend our spirit of compassion and generosity beyond our membership by supporting the less privileged, donating to orphanage homes, feeding the hungry, and partnering in poverty-alleviation initiatives that will make a significant impact in peoples’ lives.

To contribute to health-related projects and collaborate with other charitable organizations in New York and beyond, working together to improve socio-economic wellbeing, promote access to care, and uplift vulnerable populations.

Together, We Preserve Our Heritage. Together, We make a difference in the Community
